Visiting fellows should come prepared to share their professional experience and expertise, and will have opportunities to meet other scholars through functions organized by numerous groups and programs at Harvard Law School and other parts of the Visiting Undergraduate Students are not eligible for Harvard financial aid, and you must secure your own funding. In order to satisfy U.S. Immigration requirements, international students must demonstrate that they can afford all expenses, including tuition, fees, living expenses, and travel. Through its Visiting Fellows Program, the Human Rights Program (HRP) has sought to give individuals with a demonstrated commitment to human rights an opportunity to engage with the human rights community at Harvard Law School (HLS). Each year, the Visiting Fellows Program forms a critical part of creating a human rights community at HLS. Fellows may take advantage of a wealth of cultural and academic extra-curricular offerings available to the Harvard community on a daily basis.

Unfortunately, financial aid is not available to Visiting Fellows. Visiting Scholars must be professors currently employed by a university in the field of English literature. The University requires that a Visiting Scholar have $2,500 per month of their stay to cover living expenses, and scholars must make their own arrangements for housing, computing, and office space while at Harvard. Visiting Scholars and Fellows are provided shared office space, computer, library borrowing privileges, access to University facilities and events, and opportunities to audit classes and attend seminars in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and in other Harvard professional schools.
